Amerdeep Passananti

Hometown

Orange County, CA

Bio

Amerdeep is a junior interested in geography, urban development, and environmental preservation, focusing on the intersection of policy and economics in the development of cities. He hopes to channel these interests into a career in real estate. He spent his sophomore summer in real estate investment banking at Hodges Ward Elliott in Los Angeles, an all-Cornell office, his freshman summer at Greystar, the nation's biggest apartment developer, and spent the summer before that at KPMG. His junior thesis studied how the specific development of neighborhoods in Orange County, California led to a pivot in Republican party policies from the 1960s to the 1980s, making way for the Reagan Presidency. Growing up on the ocean, Amerdeep enjoys everything beach-related, has creative writing in the New York Times, and has the craziest life stories.
