Bio

Jai is a rising sophomore at Cornell University, now studying Applied Economics and Management at the Dyson School of Business. His passion for finance stems from early exposure to mission-driven financial models. While working at Caja Los Andes, a rural microfinance institution in Peru, Jai supported underbanked communities and saw firsthand how financial systems can unlock opportunity.

Since then, he’s explored the broader intersection of finance and technology. At Paasa, a Y Combinator-backed global investing startup, he worked on tools that make dollar-denominated investment accounts more accessible for international families saving for education. This summer, Jai is interning at Plum Alley Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage healthtech and frontier technology companies.

Jai’s long-term goal is to combine rigorous analysis, strategic thinking, and meaningful impact in a finance-driven role.

Outside of work, you’ll find him playing basketball, producing music, or reading philosophy.
