Mayumi is a junior interested in the intersection between biology and business. This past summer she worked at Novartis where she played a role marketing an app designed to help multiple sclerosis patients. She was also a biomedical research intern for a biotech start-up company called Berkeley Pharma Tech. She hopes to explore a future career path in the field of healthcare by shifting towards the business side of the pharmaceutical industry.
